Carlos Rivera grew up in Tucson working summers for a family pool service. By the time he was 19 he could rebuild a Pentair pump motor, diagnose a salt cell, and run startup chemistry on a fresh Pebble Tec pool — knowledge most "pool guys" never pick up. He spent the next decade working for two of the largest pool companies in southern Arizona before going out on his own.
After earning his AZ pool contractor license in 2009, Carlos launched AquaCare Pool Service in 2010 with one truck, two techs, and a handful of Scottsdale clients. His approach was simple: treat every pool like it's your own, never cut corners on chemistry, and be obsessively reliable. Sixteen years later, that's still the standard.
